About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced teachers and support staff, gaining practical experience while completing your apprenticeship training.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils in the classroom and during school activities.
• Working with individual pupils and small groups to support their learning.
• Helping pupils develop their confidence, communication and independence.
• Supporting children with additional learning needs, including SEND.
• Preparing and setting up classroom activities and resources.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement.
• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Supporting the teacher with day-to-day classroom activities.
• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.
