Engage Education are working with multiple secondary school SEN departments in the Rochdale area who are eager to secure fantastic Graduate Apprentice TA’s to provide outstanding 1:1 & small group SEN support to children with complex learning difficulties.

Graduate Apprentice TA – Role Information:

• Conducting specifically tailored 1:1 & small group support for children with SEN
• Creating warm and inspiring atmosphere for children throughout school day
• Creating and sustaining meaningful rapport with students
• Communicating with colleagues and reporting to school SENCO
• Located in one Rochdale secondary school for full academic year

Graduate Apprentice TA – Benefits:

• Paid £65 – £80 per day during term time
• Paid throughout the holiday periods
• Monday to Friday role from September 2026 to July 2027
• FREE online CPD courses across array of subjects
• Guaranteed TA qualification pending completion of 11 month course – Level 3 or Level 4
• Option to join school permanently pending course completion 

Graduate Apprentice TA – Applicant Requirements:

• Experience supporting children in any capacity
• 2026 graduates desirable
• Naturally outgoing and engaging individual with interest in teaching
• Enhanced DBS on update service desirable but NOT mandatory
• Open to full-time work beginning September 2026
