Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools | Salford

We are recruiting dedicated Cover Supervisors to work across a range of welcoming and supportive secondary schools in Salford. As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
• Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management at all times
• Ensure students remain engaged and complete the work set
• Uphold high standards of professionalism within the school environment
• Follow all safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Build positive relationships with students and staff
• Support the smooth running of the school day

• Experience working with young people is desirable
• Strong behaviour management skills and confidence leading a classroom
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A professional and reliable approach
• A good understanding of safeguarding responsibilities within education
• A genuine interest in supporting secondary-aged students
• Degree educated applicants are encouraged to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
