Warehouse Administrator – E-commerce Operations

Location: M17, Trafford, Manchester
Salary: £29,000 – £31,000 per year DOE
Hours: Sunday – Thursday, 10:00pm – 6:00am
Job Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Warehouse Administrator to join our growing e-commerce operation in Trafford.

Working as part of the night-shift operations team, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the warehouse runs efficiently and customer orders are processed accurately and on time.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, updating systems, supporting the warehouse team with daily administration and ensuring key information is communicated clearly between the night shift and wider management team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the warehouse and night-shift operation.
• Maintain accurate records of orders, stock movements, deliveries and dispatches.
• Update warehouse management and stock systems accurately and promptly.
• Monitor order progress and assist with resolving any issues or discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain daily operational reports.
• Assist with stock checks, investigations and stock reconciliation.
• Process delivery and dispatch documentation.
• Communicate with warehouse operatives, supervisors, managers and other departments.
• Ensure all relevant paperwork and system information is completed correctly.
• Monitor and record operational issues, delays and discrepancies.
• Support the team with customer order queries and fulfilment issues where required.
• Assist with staff attendance, timesheets and shift records.
• Maintain organised filing and electronic records.
• Ensure company procedures and administrative processes are followed.
• Support the Shift Supervisor and Shift Manager with general operational administration.
• Complete accurate shift handovers and ensure important information is communicated to the incoming team.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in warehouse administration, logistics administration, stock control or a similar role.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and other office systems.
• Experience using warehouse management, stock or order processing systems would be advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• A professional and reliable approach to work.
• The confidence to communicate with warehouse teams and management at all levels.
