Technical Sales Executive

Location: North of England
Salary: £40,000–£45,000 + £15,000 OTE

A growing engineering and manufacturing business is looking for a Technical Sales Executive to develop new business and build customer relationships across the North of England and Scotland.

This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to take ownership of a new territory, develop existing accounts and make a real impact on the company's growth.


The Role

• Generate new business and develop existing customer relationships.
  
  
• Identify opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline.
  
  
• Visit customers across the region, typically around three days per week.
  
  
• Understand customer requirements and work with internal teams to find the right solutions.
  
  
• Manage opportunities from initial contact through to quotation and negotiation.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Previous sales experience, either internal or external.
  
  
• Experience in a technical, engineering or manufacturing environment.
  
  
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  
  
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with a willingness to learn.
  
  
• Someone who listens to customers, asks questions and takes ownership of finding solutions.
  
  
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
