Technical Business Development Manager

up to £45,000 + Uncapped Bonus + Company Car

Help engineering businesses solve complex sourcing and supply chain challenges.

We're recruiting on behalf of a growing international business that partners with engineering and manufacturing companies to source products globally, improve quality, reduce costs and simplify complex procurement.

This is a consultative business development role where you'll build relationships with engineering and procurement leaders, identify new commercial opportunities and develop tailored supply chain solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop new business across engineering and manufacturing sectors.
• Build relationships with Engineering, Operations and Procurement leaders.
• Identify opportunities to improve customers' global sourcing and supply chains.
• Deliver consultative, solution-led sales presentations.
• Manage opportunities from first meeting through to contract award.
• Develop strategic partnerships and new market opportunities.
• Work closely with technical and sourcing teams to deliver bespoke solutions.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and CRM.

About You

You'll probably have experience in:

• Technical or engineering sales
• Manufacturing or industrial solutions
• Supply chain or procurement services
• Engineering components or industrial distribution

You'll also have:

• A proven track record of winning new business.
• Strong consultative selling skills.
• Excellent relationship-building ability.
• Commercial awareness and strong negotiation skills.
• Confidence working with senior decision-makers.
• A full UK driving licence.
