Position: Secondary Supply Teacher
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: £150–£200 per day DOE

Cover People are expanding our network of Secondary Teachers available for day-to-day and short-term supply assignments across Rochdale.

This is an ideal opportunity for teachers who want to decide when they work, whether you're looking for occasional days, regular weekly bookings or short-term placements. We work with a variety of secondary schools, meaning there are opportunities to teach in different environments and gain valuable experience without committing to a permanent position.

We're looking for teachers who can confidently take charge of a classroom, follow the school's expectations and provide students with a consistent and positive learning experience.

We are keen to speak with Secondary Teachers from a range of departments, including:

• English
• Maths
• Science
• History
• Geography
• RE
• MFL
• PE
• Art
• Drama & Music
• Design & Technology
• Computing & ICT
• Business Studies
• PSHE & Citizenship

Assignments may involve:

• Taking classes across KS3 and KS4
• Delivering lessons using plans and resources supplied by the school
• Keeping pupils engaged and focused throughout the lesson
• Maintaining appropriate standards of behaviour
• Following individual school procedures and policies
• Establishing positive working relationships with pupils and staff
• Adjusting quickly to different classrooms and school environments
• Providing feedback to the school following a lesson where required

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a secondary school
• Good knowledge of your subject area
• Confident classroom management
• The ability to adapt quickly and work independently
• A reliable and professional approach
• Strong communication skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and supporting young people

• £150–£200 per day DOE

All pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay where applicable.
