About the Role

Time Recruitment is working as a preferred recruitment partner on behalf of a growing and ambitious business seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to take ownership of content creation, paid social campaigns and brand growth.

This is a hands-on role where creativity meets performance marketing. You will be responsible for producing engaging content, managing paid social campaigns and driving measurable results across multiple social media platforms.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape strategy, create compelling content and optimise campaigns to maximise engagement, lead generation and return on investment.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

• Plan, film and edit engaging short-form video content for platforms including Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn.
• Create compelling visual content including graphics, testimonials, promotional materials and branded campaigns.
• Develop a continuous pipeline of fresh creative assets to support ongoing marketing initiatives.
• Stay ahead of social media trends and identify opportunities to increase engagement and reach.

Paid Social Media

• Build, manage and optimise paid social campaigns across Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram).
• Monitor campaign performance, budgets, audience targeting and creative effectiveness.
• Conduct A/B testing to identify the highest-performing content and campaigns.
• Improve lead quality and campaign effectiveness through audience segmentation and optimisation.
• Support the ongoing development of future paid social channels including LinkedIn and TikTok Advertising.

Organic Social Media

• Manage and grow company social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
• Create and maintain a structured content calendar.
• Increase audience engagement, followers and brand awareness.
• Monitor and respond to comments and messages in line with company guidelines.

Analytics & Reporting

• Track campaign performance using key metrics including engagement, lead generation, conversion rates and return on ad spend.
• Produce monthly performance reports with actionable recommendations.
• Analyse trends and audience behaviour to drive continuous improvement.
• Present insights and campaign results to senior stakeholders.

Compliance & Brand Management

• Ensure all content aligns with company branding and marketing standards.
• Maintain accurate records of campaign activity and approvals.
• Adhere to data protection regulations including UK GDPR.
• Ensure marketing communications are delivered professionally and responsibly.

Person Specification

Essential

• Proven experience creating, filming and editing short-form social media content.
• Hands-on experience managing Meta Ads campaigns.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and paid advertising best practices.
• Proficiency with tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva or similar.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable directing colleagues, customers or stakeholders during content creation.

Desirable

• Experience managing LinkedIn Ads and TikTok Ads campaigns.
• Knowledge of Meta Pixel, Conversion API and tracking tools.
• Experience working within professional services, financial services or other regulated sectors.
• Understanding of lead generation and customer acquisition strategies.
