Site Manager – North West

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 + Package

I'm currently working with an established and growing regional building contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager to oversee a varied portfolio of projects across the North West.

The business has built a strong reputation for delivering quality construction projects across multiple sectors, with an extensive portfolio covering commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, residential and public-sector environments.

With projects ranging from £1m to £10m, this is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and is comfortable adapting to different project requirements.

The Role

• Managing projects from initial site set-up through to completion and handover.

• Overseeing a varied portfolio of new-build and refurbishment projects.

• Taking responsibility for programme delivery, quality, health & safety and subcontractor management.

• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered efficiently.

• Maintaining strong working relationships with clients, consultants and the wider project team.

• Adapting your management approach to suit different sites, sectors and project requirements.

• Taking a hands-on approach when required, working alongside the site team to keep projects moving.

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry.

• A broad background across multiple construction sectors.

• Experience delivering both new-build and refurbishment projects.

• Comfortable managing projects ranging from smaller works through to larger, more complex schemes.

• Adaptable, practical and willing to get stuck in when the situation requires it.

• Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills.

• SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS qualifications.

Salary & Package

• £55,000 – £65,000 depending on experience.
