Job Description:

A leading engineering consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller to join their Wastewater team in Manchester, Liverpool, Bristol, or Cardiff.

This is an exciting opportunity to take a senior role leading the delivery of a hydraulic modelling framework with a leading UK water company, at a time of unprecedented investment in the water industry.

Responsibilities for Senior Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller:

• Take a senior role leading the delivery of complex wastewater modelling projects
• Support the development and delivery of wastewater catchment strategies and solutions
• Take responsibility for quality of outputs and compliance with standards and specifications
• Manage and/or support project managers in delivering projects and programmes of work
• Support the development of tender responses and fee estimates
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff
• Contribute to technical innovation within the team

Essential Requirements for Senior Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller:

• Expertise using InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange
• Experience in hydraulic modelling, catchment planning, and solution development
• Understanding of the UK water industry and regulatory issues
• Proven track record coordinating and delivering technically excellent projects
• Ability to check the work of others, providing quality assurance and driving continuous improvement
