Are you a senior HR leader looking for an opportunity to shape people strategy whilst leading a high-performing HR function?
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to provide strategic HR leadership across a complex organisation. This is a highly influential role, partnering with senior stakeholders to drive organisational performance, support transformational change and ensure the delivery of a proactive, commercially focused HR service.
Leading a team of HR Business Partners, who in turn manage HR Advisors, you will play a key role in setting direction, developing capability and ensuring consistency of HR delivery across the business. This position requires a confident and credible HR professional with experience operating at a senior level, managing multi-layered HR teams and supporting executive leaders through significant organisational change.
This role offers a blend of strategic and operational responsibility, with a focus on leadership, workforce planning, organisational development, change management and complex people matters.
The role involves:

• Leading, developing and supporting a team of HR Business Partners to deliver a high-quality HR service across the organisation
• Providing leadership and oversight to wider HR teams, ensuring effective management and development of HR Advisors through the HRBP structure
• Acting as a strategic partner to senior leaders, influencing business decisions and aligning people plans with organisational objectives
• Leading workforce planning, organisational design, succession planning and talent management initiatives
• Driving organisational change, restructures, consultation exercises and transformation programmes
• Coaching and supporting leaders to build high-performing, engaged and inclusive teams
• Providing oversight and guidance on complex and high-risk employee relations matters and employment law issues
• Using people data, metrics and insights to influence decision-making and improve organisational performance
• Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes, policies and ways of working
• Supporting the delivery of key HR projects and contributing to the wider people strategy

You’ll need:

• Significant experience operating as a Senior HR Business Partner, Head of HR, HR Manager or equivalent senior HR leadership role
• Proven experience managing HR Business Partners and developing high-performing HR teams
• Strong leadership capability with the ability to coach, mentor and influence managers at all levels
• Experience partnering with senior executives and stakeholders to deliver organisational objectives through people strategies
• Strong knowledge of organisational change, transformation, consultation and workforce planning
• A track record of leading complex people agendas across large or multi-site organisations
• Excellent understanding of employment law and HR best practice
• Commercial awareness with the ability to balance strategic objectives and people priorities
• Experience using HR data and analytics to inform business decisions and measure impact
• CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent senior-level HR experience
• Current CIPD membership preferred
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
• A pragmatic, resilient and solutions-focused approach
