Senior Health and Safety Advisor

Circa £60,000 + Car Allowance & Benefits

A leading Principal Contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Health and Safety Advisor to support its construction operations across the region.

This is a hands-on role working closely with project and site teams to maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental performance. You will play an important part in ensuring the company's safety systems are followed while helping to build and maintain a strong safety culture across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide health, safety and environmental support across a number of construction projects.
• Carry out site inspections, audits and risk assessments to identify and address potential risks.
• Help develop, implement and review Construction Health & Safety Plans.
• Support the investigation of incidents and ensure appropriate corrective actions are put in place.
• Work with site teams to drive improvements in health and safety standards and maintain compliance with company procedures and legislation.

About You

• NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate, or an equivalent health and safety qualification.
• Previous experience working in a construction health and safety role across multiple sites.
• Strong understanding of UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Confident communicator with good report writing and presentation skills.
• Proactive approach with the ability to work closely with site and project teams.
