£35,000 - £40,000 + UNCAPPED COMMISSION + £80,000+ OTE

With ongoing investment in AI, sales systems, digital marketing and lead generation, this Sales Executive opportunity offers the tools and support to develop your pipeline and win profitable business.

This is a relationship-driven Sales Executive position, focused on customer meetings, tailored proposals and converting qualified opportunities rather than high-volume cold calling.

The opportunity would suit a Sales Executive, Business Development Executive, Account Manager or Business Development Manager with a consultative approach to selling B2B services.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

As Sales Executive, you'll primarily manage inbound enquiries and marketing-generated leads, alongside opportunities developed through referrals, networking and targeted account development.

Working with customers across commercial offices, manufacturing, education, logistics, warehousing and retail, you'll understand their requirements and develop tailored facilities management and cleaning proposals.

For a Sales Executive who enjoys face-to-face conversations, this position offers the opportunity to visit customers, understand their operations and build lasting commercial relationships.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Sales Executive will work closely with Operations and Finance to ensure contracts are accurately priced, profitable and ready for a smooth operational handover.

THE SALES EXECUTIVE ROLE:

• Qualify inbound enquiries and marketing-generated leads, identifying suitable opportunities.

• Build relationships with decision-makers, understand their priorities and guide them through the sales process.

• Conduct customer meetings and site surveys to assess service requirements, staffing, equipment and delivery considerations.

• Prepare tailored quotations, pricing models, proposals and selected tender responses.

• Present solutions, negotiate commercial terms and convert opportunities into profitable recurring contracts.

• Develop additional business through referrals, networking and targeted relationship building.

• Use CRM systems, AI tools and automation to support research, organise follow-up and improve sales efficiency.

• Maintain accurate pipeline records, clear next steps and realistic sales forecasts.

• Work with Operations and Finance to validate costs, protect margins and ensure services can be delivered effectively.

• Complete structured handovers covering scope, customer expectations, pricing and mobilisation.

• Achieve agreed revenue, gross profit and conversion targets.

THE PERSON:

• Experience as a Sales Executive, Business Development Executive, Account Manager, Business Development Manager or in a comparable B2B sales position.

• A proven track record of building customer relationships and converting opportunities into profitable contracts.

• A consultative approach, with confidence understanding customer needs and recommending suitable solutions.

• Experience managing the full sales process, including discovery, proposals, pricing, negotiation and closing.

• Strong commercial awareness, including an understanding of costs, margins and contract values.

• Confidence leading customer meetings and building relationships with senior decision-makers.

• Strong organisation, follow-up and CRM discipline.

• Comfortable using modern sales systems, with an interest in applying AI and automation to improve results.

• Previous use of AI tools for research, prospecting, proposals or sales administration would be advantageous.

• Experience in facilities management, contract cleaning, outsourced services or recurring service contracts would be advantageous.

• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
