Job Description:

An established civil engineering contractor is looking for an experienced Project Manager to deliver a civil engineering package on a school near Manchester.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead package from mobilisation through to completion.
• Manage programme, budgets, risk, change and commercial performance.
• Coordinate site teams, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification.
• Lead progress meetings, reporting and project close-out.

Experience Required

• Proven Project Management experience within civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Previous experience working on a school or similar is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of programme, cost and commercial management.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Good client and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with JCT contracts would be advantageous.
• Relevant industry qualification such as HNC/HND, degree, CIOB or ICE membership is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.

You must have or be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.
