Job Description:

Pre-Sales Consultant – AI & Solutions Architecture

Location: UK-based, hybrid working, Manchester or London HQ (2-4x per month)
Salary: £65,000 – £95,000 + bonus
Employment: Permanent

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant to join an established, growing technology consultancy, helping organisations understand how modern technology — particularly AI, data and cloud — can solve complex business challenges.

This is a highly consultative role sitting at the intersection of technology, commercial strategy and customer engagement. You’ll work closely with prospective and existing customers to understand their objectives, shape compelling technology solutions and demonstrate how those solutions can deliver measurable business value.

A significant focus of the role will be on AI-oriented architecture and solutions, helping customers understand where AI can create genuine value and how it can be incorporated into scalable, secure and commercially viable technology ecosystems.

You’ll work alongside sales, engineering, architecture and delivery teams to take opportunities from early-stage discovery through to compelling technical proposals and successful outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical understanding with excellent commercial and communication skills.

You’ll ideally have:

You don't necessarily need to be an AI specialist or hands-on developer. What matters is that you can understand AI technologies, identify meaningful use cases and translate them into credible enterprise solutions.

The kind of person who will thrive here

You’ll be naturally curious about technology and enjoy exploring what’s possible, but you’ll also be commercially minded enough to ask whether a proposed solution actually solves the customer's problem.

You’ll be comfortable operating in ambiguity, asking the right questions and challenging assumptions. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively with architects, engineers and sales professionals, while being equally comfortable taking ownership of customer conversations yourself.

Most importantly, you’ll be able to bridge the gap between business problems and technical solutions — turning complex ideas into something customers can understand, believe in and invest in.

What’s on offer

Interested?

If you’re an experienced pre-sales professional who enjoys solving complex customer problems and are excited about the potential of AI-driven technology, we’d love to hear from you.
