Job Description:

Occupational Health Technician
Location: Greater Manchester, with travel to client sites.
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Salary: up to £29,000 

We are working with a well-established occupational health provider seeking an Occupational Health Technician to join their growing team. This is a varied field-based role, supporting the delivery of health surveillance services across a range of client sites.

This position would suit someone with previous experience in occupational health who is confident working independently, enjoys travel, and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service.

The role:

• Travel to client sites and operate a fully equipped Mobile Medical Unit.
• Carry out health surveillance assessments including audiometry, lung function testing, drug and alcohol testing, and baseline measurements.
• Set up and maintain mobile clinics to ensure smooth delivery of services.
• Prepare, check and stock equipment for site-based visits.
• Support the wider occupational health team with clinical and administrative tasks.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is completed in line with data protection requirements.
• Liaise professionally with clients, internal teams and external contacts.
• Stay away overnight on occasion, where required and fully covered by the business.

What we are looking for:

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Previous experience as an Occupational Health Technician.
• Willingness to travel regularly to different sites.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload.
• Strong IT and administration skills.
• Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail.
• A flexible, proactive and professional approach.
