Multilingual Remote Calling & Data Verification Operative
£18.00 per hour
Fully Remote
Must speak English and Portuguese or Spanish or French or Italian

Contract: 12-week temporary contract, with the opportunity to become permanent
Location: Fully remote / work from home
Hours: Monday to Sunday (5days per week), 9:00am to 5:00pm
Pay: £18.00 per hour
Additional availability: Some weekend work may be required
The Opportunity
Are you a confident communicator who speaks English and Portuguese or Spanish or French or Italian fluently?
Do you have experience in telephone-based roles, data collection or verification, and enjoy working accurately to clear targets?
We are looking for experienced Multilingual Remote Calling & Data Verification Operatives to join a busy project supporting clients with important business verification activity.
This is not a traditional cold-calling sales role. Instead, you will contact businesses in the UK and overseas to verify factual commercial information, helping ensure that the information provided to our clients is accurate and reliable.
You'll receive structured tasks, use a dialler system to make calls and work to clearly defined daily targets and deliverables.
Initially offered as a 12-week temporary assignment, there is also the opportunity to secure a permanent position for successful candidates.
What You'll Be Doing
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Making outbound calls to UK and international businesses to complete structured verification checks
• Confirming that businesses exist, are operational and trade in the products or services stated
• Checking key company information, including:
  • Company name and trading status
  • Business and operating addresses
  • Telephone numbers and email addresses
• Verifying whether businesses genuinely sell or supply specific products
• Confirming the nature of a company's sales activity, such as wholesale, retail, bulk supply or export
• Accurately recording verified information using Microsoft Office and internal systems
• Using a provided dialler system to efficiently manage calls and outcomes
• Working accurately and efficiently to achieve daily call and task targets
• Submitting completed verification tasks and reports at the end of each working day
• Communicating with the operations team via WhatsApp to resolve queries and discrepancies in real time

The businesses you contact could operate across a variety of sectors, including automotive parts, packaged foods, agricultural produce, wholesale goods and solid fuels.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for people who are confident on the phone, highly organised and comfortable managing their own workload from home.
Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous experience in data entry, telesales, telephone interviewing, customer service, call handling or a similar telephone-based role
• Excellent telephone communication skills
• The confidence to contact businesses and ask clear, structured questions
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately verify and record factual information
• Experience working efficiently to call volumes, targets or task deadlines
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• The ability to work independently and stay productive in a fully remote position
• Excellent organisation, record-keeping and time-management skills

Essential Language Skills
To be considered for this position, you must be fluent in English and one of these languages
Portuguese or Spanish or French or Italian
You'll be communicating professionally with businesses, so a high standard of spoken communication is essential.
Remote Working Requirements
As this is a 100% work-from-home role, you'll need:

• A reliable internet connection
• A suitable and professional home-working environment
• Access to a suitable smart device, such as a laptop, tablet/iPad or smartphone, as required
• The discipline and time-management skills to work effectively without direct supervision
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
• Flexibility to work some weekends when operationally required
• Willingness to use WhatsApp for day-to-day operational communication
• The ability to follow structured instructions and submit completed work each day
