Head of Ecommerce - TikTok LIVE | Greater Manchester | Salary £70k - £80k + Bonus

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially driven Head of Ecommerce to lead and scale one of the UK's leading TikTok LIVE shopping operations. Working with a rapidly growing consumer brand, this is a high-impact leadership role with full ownership of LIVE trading performance, commercial strategy, team development and operational delivery.

The Head of Ecommerce will combine strategic thinking with hands-on trading expertise, driving revenue, conversion and profitability while building a high-performing team of LIVE hosts and operational specialists. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the TikTok LIVE trading strategy, taking ownership of revenue, profitability, conversion and wider commercial KPIs.

• Manage the LIVE trading calendar, including broadcast schedules, product launches, promotional activity and seasonal campaigns.

• Optimise product selection, pricing, merchandising, promotions and stock availability to maximise sales and margin.

• Oversee the day-to-day delivery of LIVE shopping sessions, ensuring broadcasts are commercially focused, engaging and consistently executed.

• Monitor trading performance in real time, identifying opportunities to improve sales, customer engagement and conversion.

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of LIVE hosts, setting clear expectations around sales targets, presentation standards and product knowledge.

• Manage the wider LIVE operations team, including producers, moderators and technical support, ensuring seamless execution behind the scenes.

• Establish effective processes, performance standards and workflows to create a scalable, commercially efficient operation.

• Own trading dashboards and reporting, analysing GMV, revenue, conversion, AOV, engagement and host performance to identify growth opportunities.

• Work closely with buying, merchandising, marketing and operations teams to align trading activity with wider business objectives.

• Identify opportunities to innovate, improve the customer experience and maximise the commercial potential of TikTok LIVE shopping.

• Build a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement across the team.

About the Candidate

• Proven experience in ecommerce trading, digital trading, social commerce or a similar commercially focused retail leadership role.

• A strong understanding of online trading performance, with experience managing revenue targets, conversion, profitability and commercial KPIs.

• Experience of TikTok Shop, LIVE shopping or social commerce would be highly advantageous.

• Demonstrable experience leading, motivating and developing teams to achieve ambitious commercial objectives.

• A commercially astute, analytical thinker who can translate performance data into actionable trading decisions.

• Comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on involvement in daily trading and operational delivery.

• Strong understanding of product merchandising, promotional planning, stock management and customer engagement.

• Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels.

• A proactive, solutions-focused leader who thrives in a high-volume, performance-driven trading environment.

• Experience developing efficient processes and scaling ecommerce or trading operations.
