We are representing a well-established franchise main dealership in Bolton seeking a highly experienced General Sales Manager. Duties of the General Sales Manager:

• Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets
• Manage new and used vehicle sales performance, profitability, and stock levels
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement strategies to maximise sales and profit
• Coach and mentor Sales Executives to improve team performance
• Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction
• Work closely with the Aftersales and management teams to optimise overall dealership results
• Oversee sales processes in line with manufacturer and company standards
• Recruit, train, and develop sales staff as required
• Report on sales performance and provide commercial insights to senior management

Requirements of the General Sales Manager:

• Proven experience as a Sales Manager, General Sales Manager, or senior sales management within a franchise dealership
• Strong knowledge of a franchise main dealership environment
• Track record of achieving sales targets and strong financial results
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Commercially focused with an ability to identify growth opportunities
• Full UK driving licence
• Ambition to progress within a reputable automotive group
