Put your commercial insurance knowledge to work in an independent brokerage where you can build lasting client relationships and make a visible contribution.

We're working with an independent commercial brokerage in Manchester that has expanded over the past two years and is now looking for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join its team.

You'll manage a varied commercial portfolio, work directly with clients and negotiate with insurers, supported by a collaborative team. It's an opportunity to develop your technical skills and contribute to a business as it continues to grow.

• Manage renewals, mid-term adjustments and day-to-day enquiries across a varied portfolio of commercial clients.

• Build strong client relationships, understand their businesses and respond to their changing insurance needs.

• Negotiate pricing and terms with insurers to arrange appropriate cover.

• Review clients' existing cover, identify gaps and explain suitable options clearly.

• Work closely with colleagues to deliver accurate, responsive service.

• Experience as a Commercial Insurance Account Handler or in a similar role handling commercial insurance.

• A sound understanding of commercial products, including property, liability and commercial combined.

• Confidence communicating with clients and building relationships with insurers.

• An organised approach, attention to detail and experience using insurance systems.

• An interest in developing your technical knowledge and contributing to a collaborative team.

• A salary of up to £40,000, depending on experience.

• Hybrid working in Manchester.
