Temporary Claims Handler

Location: Cheadle
Duration: 2 Weeks Temporary Assignment
Start Date: Monday
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £13ph - £14.50ph dependant on experience

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a temporary Claims Handler to join a busy and friendly team based in Cheadle for an initial 2-week assignment.

This role will involve being the first point of contact for customers, taking inbound calls and gathering initial claims information before accurately directing cases to the appropriate department for further handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from customers regarding new claims
• Obtain and record important claim details accurately
• Gather relevant information and documentation from customers
• Log claims information onto internal systems
• Pass completed claims information to the appropriate team
• Provide excellent customer service at all times
• Carry out general administrative duties as required
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with company procedures

Requirements

• Previous customer service, administration, call handling or claims experience desirable
• Excellent communication and telephone manner
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good IT skills and ability to use multiple systems
• Professional and empathetic approach when dealing with customers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
