Bid Writer - Charity / Third Sector

Salary: £35,000 - £41,000 per annum, plus a performance bonus (OTE £50,000)
Location: Remote, with occasional travel to client meetings
Job type: Full-time, permanent

Are you an experienced bid writer with a talent for crafting compelling funding applications? Do you want to use your skills to make a real difference in the charity and not-for-profit sector?

Hatched Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation that helps charities across the UK with their fundraising. You'll join a small, collaborative team, working remotely with occasional travel.

What you'll be doing:

• Preparing and submitting high-quality, tailored funding bids for a range of charitable clients
• Working with clients to identify fundable projects and develop strategic funding approaches
• Researching funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, lottery and statutory funders
• Managing multiple deadlines and making sure every bid meets the funder's requirements
• Keeping in regular contact with clients and the internal team

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience of writing successful funding bids in the charity or third sector
• Excellent written communication skills, with an eye for detail
• Strong project management and organisational skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and working to tight deadlines
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings
