Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Tunnel Hand to join a long-term programme of works within the UK water and infrastructure sector. This is a permanent opportunity working on secured AMP8 frameworks, offering stability, structured progression, and the chance to develop specialist tunnelling skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Support tunnelling operations on site
• Assist with shaft sinking and associated activities
• Work effectively as part of a shift team on 24-hour operations
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality
• Contribute to efficient delivery of works across multiple UK projects

Requirements

• Previous experience within tunnelling or shaft environments preferred
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work long hours where required
• Flexible to travel and work across different project locations
• Reliable, committed, and keen to develop within the sector
