Assistant Manager | Premium Cycling Retailer | Cheshire | £32,000

Are you an experienced Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor with a strong commercial mindset and a genuine passion for premium sports, lifestyle or performance products?

We're recruiting for a Deputy Manager in Cheshire to support the Store Manager in delivering strong sales, customer service, team performance and operational standards within a premium retail environment.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on retail leader who enjoys being close to the customer, developing people and playing an important role in the performance and continued development of a successful store.

The Role

Working closely with the Store Manager, you'll help drive the commercial and operational performance of the store.

You'll be responsible for:

• Supporting the delivery of sales targets and retail KPIs

• Leading and motivating the team day-to-day

• Coaching and developing colleagues to improve performance

• Helping drive conversion, basket spend and customer experience

• Building strong relationships with customers and delivering knowledgeable, engaging service

• Maintaining excellent standards across stock, merchandising and store operations

• Analysing store performance and helping turn insight into action

• Taking ownership of the store in the Store Manager's absence

About You

We're looking for a confident and ambitious retail leader who combines great customer service with commercial awareness and genuine product enthusiasm.

You'll ideally have:

• Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, Supervisor or senior retail experience

• Experience delivering against sales targets and retail KPIs

• Strong people skills with experience coaching and developing colleagues

• A genuine passion for premium sports, lifestyle or performance products

• The enthusiasm and curiosity to develop strong product knowledge

• Excellent customer service skills and confidence engaging with knowledgeable customers

• A hands-on, positive and commercially aware approach

• The ambition to develop and progress within retail management
