Job Description:

Location: Manchester
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

I'm recruiting for two Import opportunities within the same established freight forwarding business in Manchester - one within Air Imports and one within Ocean Imports.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful international logistics organisation that genuinely invests in its people, with a strong focus on training, long-term development and internal progression.

Depending on your background, you'll join either the Air or Ocean Import team and take responsibility for:

• Managing import shipments from start to finish
• Tracking freight and keeping customers updated
• Coordinating shipping and customs documentation
• Liaising with customers, carriers, suppliers and overseas partners
• Managing operational data and billing
• Ensuring shipments run smoothly, accurately and on time

Previous Air Freight or Ocean Freight Import experience would be ideal, although candidates earlier in their freight forwarding career will also be considered.

You'll be organised, proactive, customer-focused and keen to develop within a business where there is genuine opportunity to progress.
