Accounts Coordinator

Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Location: Office-based, Stockport area
Salary: £30 - 35k

The Role
 
We're looking for an experienced Accounts Coordinator to manage the day-to-day finance function as a standalone role.
This is a hands-on position covering the full transactional finance cycle, with responsibility for keeping the finance function running smoothly day to day and preparing information for external accountants and senior finance support.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Processing supplier and customer invoices using Sage 50
• Bank reconciliation
• Credit control
• Preparing and processing supplier payments
• Weekly payroll
• Managing pension auto-enrolment
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Dealing with foreign currency transactions
• Producing regular financial reporting for management
• General day-to-day bookkeeping and finance administration

What We're Looking For

• Solid, demonstrable bookkeeping experience
• AAT qualified or equivalent, or qualified by experience
• Familiarity with Sage 50 is ideal
• Experience with payroll and VAT return preparation
• Comfortable working independently as the sole day-to-day finance resource within a business
• Excellent attention to detail and reliability
• Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
• A collaborative and positive team player
• Comfortable working within a small business environment
• A genuine willingness to contribute to continuous improvement

Working Hours
Monday to Friday
Start: 08:30-09:00 Finish: 16:30-17:00
